Best Time To Visit Nepal A Climate Overview
You can visit Nepal almost any time in a year however the best time to visit depends on what is your motive to visit. If you want to explore and experience cultural/heritage aspects, you can visit anytime. Nepal has major four seasons, every season is not the same. Our recommendation is to visit Nepal in the Autumn and Spring seasons.
To get the best out of the trip/trekking, October, November, March, and, April are the best times to visit Nepal.
Autumn Season (September – November)
Autumn is the best season to visit Nepal. Usually, Late September, October, and November are the best time for trekking in Nepal.
The sky is clear and mild, and many trekkers are on their route to popular trekking destinations, Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Langtang Valley, and other hilly destinations for a long day of trekking. As Autumn is the peak season, hotel/lodge prices rise.

Winter Season (December – February)
The winter season is only suitable for exploring Nepal's lower regions. Because of the heavy snowfall in the highlands, now is not the best season to visit Nepal. Because higher-elevation hiking is not feasible during the winter season, the best things to do in Nepal in December are to visit Kathmandu, Lumbini, Patan, and Pokhara.
Spring Season (March-May)
A season of rhododendron blooms, Spring is the peak season, and normally, March, April, and May.
The breathtaking views of the mountains with flowering rhododendrons will take your breath away. The temperature is somewhat warm at low elevations and moderates at higher elevations.
The best things to do in Nepal in March include Bungee Jumping in Bhotekoshi, White water rafting in Bhotekoshi, Paragliding in Pokhara, Sky Diving, and Jungle Safari in Bardiya National Park and Chitwan National Park.
Summer Season (June – August)
A season of Monsoon, daily heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. The monsoon brings landslides, and mountains are covered with clouds. The summer season is not the best time to visit Nepal.
